DOVER, NH, NOVEMBER ’16: Formax introduces the Cut-True 29A and Cut-True 29H, expanding its line of large-format Cut-True Guillotine cutters.
The Cut-True 29A Automatic Electric and 29H Hydraulic Cutters accurately cut paper stacks up to 3.15” high and up to 20.5” wide. User-friendly features include a touchscreen LCD control panel, automatically-adjusting back gauge, the ability to program up to 100 jobs/100 cuts, an LED Cutting Line which shows exactly where the blade will cut, and a hardened steel blade for crisp, accurate cuts, every time.
Cutting accuracy is 0.1mm on paper stacks up to 8mm. A false clamp is included with both models to minimize the risk of marking sensitive paper stock. The clamp can be removed to decrease the minimum cut length, and is easily stored within the machine. Standard safety features include an infrared light beam safety curtain which stops operation if the light plane is interrupted, two-button operation, blade lock, external blade depth adjustment, easy blade change access from the front of the cutter, and a wooden paper push for safe alignment.
The Cut-True 29A Automatic Cutter uses an electric drive to operate the paper clamp and blade carrier. The Cut-True 29H Hydraulic Cutter uses hydraulic pressure to engage the paper clamp, which is adjustable to give the best possible clamp pressure for different paper weights and stack heights. The 29H also features a foot pedal pre-clamp to check the paper position before cutting.
Optional wide side tables are available to make it easier for operators to maneuver larger paper stock.
