DOVER, NH, DECEMBER ’16: Formax introduces the ColorMaxT6 Digital Color Multimedia Printer. Using durable, dry toner, the ColorMaxT6 produces CMYK prints with the added benefit of using white or clear toner for graphics and text that stand apart from the rest.
The ColorMaxT6 features revolutionary multi-level LED print heads which control the amount of toner applied to each 1200-dpi dot, for fine detail across the entire document. High-capacity CMYK toner cartridges produce up to 38,000 pages, using dry toner which is durable, and ideal for envelopes out in the elements.
The standard configuration includes the printer, two 530-sheet trays, a high-capacity envelope feeder,output conveyor, and a stand with casters for mobility. Designed with a straight feed path, the ColorMaxT6 offers Clean Sheet print technology, making it ideal for printing envelopes of all sizes. The ColorMaxT6 prints up to 50 pages per minute and can handle a variety of stock, up to 360gsm, in sizes ranging from 3” x 5” index cards to 13” x 52” banners. This flexibility provides the ability to create envelopes, banners, mock-ups, stationery, invitations, brochures, and more.
The ColorMaxT6 has the ability to print CMYK plus White toner in a single pass. Using white toner allows users to print color-on-color and white-on-color, producing text and images that virtually pop right off the page. For additional impact, the ColorMaxT6 also uses Clear toner, to produce watermarks and other artistic enhancements. Swapping between white and clear toner is quick and easy with the front-access consumables compartment.
User-friendly features include a color LCD control panel with alphanumeric keypad which displays real-time information on print jobs and toner levels.
Options include a long paper tray for banner printing, and a 160GB hard disk kit.
